Both Paula and Baim are Muslims, therefore, their divorce case is taken to Pengadilan Agama, or Islamic Religious Court in South Jakarta. If a couple are not Muslims, usually, they go to a state court to sort things out, legally. In Christianity itself, it is forbidden to get a divorce so we can't find a religious legal institution to finalize a divorce for the Christians, therefore they must go to state court.
We encourage members of our society to being wise and supportive. There is a tendency that sometimes, especially those who are active socially on their digital medias such as Facebook, Instagram or others, side with either the wife or the husband. This attitude can make the situation worst for both of them. Therefore, let's be fair and supportive so other can find better solution when they are in difficult and challenging times.
