According to the Badan Pusat Statistic, NORTH SUMATRA, where I live now, was at the 28th with its 70.57.
The 3 lowest provinces in the index are:
1. Banten 68.08
2. Bengkulu 69.74
3. Papua 69.87
The Indonesian government stated that based on research conducted by the related bureau, Indonesia is getting happier as a nation.
In 2017, the average index was 70. 69, while in 2021, it was 71. 49.
Most likely, even the 2021-index, was research before Covid-19 since it does look to me that during Covid-19, the majority of Indonesians, like the global population were rather in fear and anxiety due to the virus.
