The Top 10 Happiest Provinces in Indonesia

There are 3 indicators used by the BPS to measure happiness:

• LIFE SATISFACTION, this related to: physical & mental health, education & skill, work, income, housing, family, free-time, social relation, environment-quality, and safety.
• EMOTION (AFFECTION), meaning:  the person experiences positive emotion most of the time.
• THE MEANING OF LIFE: being satisfied and having a strong purpose in life.

That is the data from the Indonesian government. You might agree or disagree with it, right? The most important thing is, wherever we are, it is mainly our own responsibility to make sure that we are happy, sane and safe. Each of us gets to participate the best we can to upgrade the state of our well-being.

At my school, the minimum grade for KKM is 78. KKM is KRITERIA KETUNTASAN MINIMAL. Meaning, a student at least has to get 78 out of 100 in an examination for each subject. If a student gets 77, she or he has to do a remedial, meaning, she/he has to learn more and repeat the same examination.

If I compare the index of happiness in this country, it means, even the happiest province, North Maluku with its 76, 34, it still needs a remedial...
