First of all i would like to pray for the God power that makes the private company especially the multinational corporate to do CSR for overcoming Covid19 Pandemic. The question is, "What is the meaning of CSR ?". Based on World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), CSR is a concept of the continuity commintment by the corporate to do the ethics one and give the contribution for the local community economic development within parallel of the employer prosperity and the family".
From the meaning of CSR above, the yurisprudency book say,"the concept of CSR has many principles must be done". They are :
1. The Religion principle;
2. The management ethics.
In the modern management corporate, the corporate cannot be seperated by the individual who involved at the corporate as the stakeholder. The main point is, "the corporate owner has the public obligation". The profesional one has two responbilities except for the owner also for the public. This concept is more familiar wiht yhe name "The Non Fiduciaty Responbility". Based on this concept, once upon a time Mr. Archie B. Carot try to develop the concept of CSR Pyramid. It can be clusterred by the Four Level of CSR. They are :
1. The Economic Responbility;
2. The Legal Responbility;
3. The Ethic Responbolity;
4. The Philantrophy Responbility.
So if we make the overlay between the CSR Principles and the Four Level of CSR, the key word is "ENGAGEMENT". According to The Oxford Learner'S Pocket Dictionary (OLPD),"Engagemebt is agreement yo marry; arrangement to do something at particular time;battle. So if depend on our passion to the CSR program with 3C(Commitment, Consistency and Continuity). The wise people history explain that, "At the religion principle i am very afraid if i dont have the commitment with My God at the end of ghe world(10:15)".
Last but no least, The Prophet Mohammad SAW has thaught us with his four principle FAST. Mahatma Gandhi at once upon a time said, "If you dont learn you dont change, if you die.
