Despite the potential of unpleasant circumstances faced by any youngsters who are curious about the issue of 1965, young adrenaline-seekers find it adventurous to experience such consequence. Discussion under the haunt of authoritarian security apparatus and espionages among the audiences are more intriguing rather than any discussions which consciously back-scratching government. Together with the well-known jargon, this phenomena underlines that some people are agree that “being left is sexy”.

Unfortunately, security apparatus, in the other side are enjoying their role as savior and guardian who will protect the country and society from vile communist influence. Moreover, despite President Joko Widodo’s efforts to resolve 1965 problems has commenced through the symposiums, he needs military to back up his nationalist policies. In this regard, majority of military officers will perceive any efforts to apology are unnecessary and even counterproductive to Jokowi’s nationalist policies.
