Judging from both their outstanding performances and excellent ranking of their albums, no wonder if Iron Maiden is then widely known as one of the greatest heavy metal bands all of time, not only in England but also in the world. 

Many later metal bands, such as Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, or Slayer, admit that they're very much influenced by Iron Maiden.
