Introduction
At this time, I'll reviewing the journal by titled "Mobile-based Tajwid 1 Learning Media at the Gontor Entrance Guidance Institution with the Demonstration Method". The journal focuses on the development and evaluation of a mobile-based learning application for Tajwid 1, a fundamental aspect of Islamic education. Muhammad Sirajuddin Mumtaz Dzaky, Dihin Muriyatmoko, and Taufiqurrahman are the authors from this journal.
Summary
The introduction highlights the importance of Tajwid 1 in Islamic education, noting that it is a fardhu kifayah for Muslims. The current method of learning Tajwid 1, primarily through printed books, is limited and often ineffective. To address this issue, the authors developed a mobile-based learning application using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach and the demonstration method. The application was tested with six Tajwid teachers and a learning media expert, achieving satisfactory results.
Evaluation
The evaluation section provides detailed insights into the development process and testing of the application. The authors used a blackbox testing method to ensure the application's functionality. The application was tested on five smartphones with various brands and screen sizes, demonstrating its compatibility and usability. The results showed that the application was effective, with an average score of 94.38% from a learning media expert and 88.40% from six Tajwid teachers.
Critical Analysis
I agree with the creation of this tajwid learning. Because by use the tajwid learning aplication will make easier students to study tajwid with fun and all teachers also can aplicated this tajwid aplication learning to all his students.
Conclusion
Overall, the journal provides a comprehensive overview of the development and evaluation of a mobile-based learning application for Tajwid 1. The application demonstrates effectiveness in facilitating the learning of Tajwid 1, particularly through the demonstration method. While the study has several strengths, including its methodology and usability testing, it could benefit from more diverse user feedback and additional interactive features. The potential impact of this application on Islamic education is significant, and further research on scalability and accessibility is recommended.
