A: You have been a writer since 1992. It's a very long time, man. How do you measure your own achievement?

B: I'm happy, even though I'm just a simple man living in simple life. That's enough for me. Speaking about writing work... yeah, maybe I'm not a very active blogger or productive book writer. It's okay because I'm not an ambitious writer. I'm also much older now... haha

A: Don't say that, man... OK, have you tried to send some book scripts to publisher recently?

B: Of course. Unlike some years ago, today in digital era we send scripts through internet application. It might be easier for writers to send their book scripts. The problem is... it's sometimes error in the sending process. I don't like that... haha.

A: So, you gave up and didn't want to send book scripts anymore?

B: No. I just tried to see the book industry in big picture. It seems book publishing is indeed facing many difficulties now in digital era. People tend to like reading digital information better than the paper based ones. Many book stores were closed. It's tragic.

A: Yeah... it's really sad and happens around the world. The question is... how do you try to express your opinion, in such "bad condition" for book writers like this?

B: Well... just being a blogger. In fact, it's more fun because I don't have to write the material in many pages... haha. Anyway, last week I went to Gramedia bookstore Pondok Gede and found out that my book was still displayed there. The title is Kursus Singkat Percakapan Bahasa Inggris. It was surprising me. I just hope it can be reprinted again and again... haha. I heard it's also printed in digital form.
