A: Let's talk about a new metal band. Old school metal bands are still OK, but we need refreshment. Any idea?
B: Yeah... there're many new metal bands I like. One of them is Beast In Black which was formed in 2015 in Helsinki (Finland).
A: The name reminds me of another metal band named Battle Beast. Any explanation?
B: Yes, it's because Anton Kabanen (lead guitarist, song writer) was once the member of Battle Beast. He left it in early 2015 and formed Beast In Black in the same year. I don't know why he left Battle Beast.
A: How many studio albums has Beast In Black released?
B: Three albums... Berseker (2017), From Hell With Love (2019), and Dark Connection (2021). Their genre is power melodic metal which is good and also my favorite genre of metal.
A: How many members are there in the band? Are all of the band's members from Finland?
B: There're 5 members in the band... Anton Kabanen (guitarist, keyboard), Yannis Pappadopoulos (vocalist), Kasperi Heikkinen (guitarist), Mate Molnar (bassist), and Atte Pallokangas (drummer). Yannis is from Greece and Mate is from Hungary.
A: Please tell me some achievements from this band...
B: OK. They have good achievements for a relatively new band... their first album reached no. 7 in Finland, no. 21 in UK, and no. 33 in Switzerland. Their second album ranked no. 1 in Finland, no. 2 in UK, and no. 6 in Germany. Their third album reached no. 1 (again) in Finland, no. 7 in UK, and no. 11 in Switzerland. Yes... it seems they're very famous in Europe. Check them out on internet to see their performances and videos. Oh yeah... they just released a new single in 2024 titled "Power of the Beast".
