(Short Conversation) Theocracy Is a Christian Metal Band

A: Is there any metal band that is religious and not dark or scary?

B: Not many. One of them is Theocracy. It's an American Christian progressive power metal band. It was formed in 2002.

A: Sounds interesting and still new. How is their musical style?

B: They got influenced from bands like Edguy, Iced Earth, Helloween, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Kansas, and Rush.

A: OK, how many albums have they released?

B: Five studio albums... Theocracy (2003), Mirror Of Souls (2008), As The World Bleeds (2011), Ghost Ship (2016), and Mosaic (2023).

A: Who was the founder of this band? Is he still in this band now?

B: The founder was Matt Smith (lead vocalist). Yes, he's still in the band. Anyway, Theocracy is really a Christian metal band. They have released many Christmas singles in metal style. I'm not their fanatic fan, just know a little info about them. That's all. 

A: What of their songs did you ever listen to? Is this band recommended for the non-metal fans?

B: I just ever listened to 4 of their songs in MP3 form... "A Call To Arms", "Ghost Ship", "Hide In The Fairytale", and "Wages Of Sin". For me, their music is good enough. They do play metal music, but ear-friendly with ethical themes. If you like listening to metal music which is not dark or satanic, Theocracy is one of a good alternatives.
