Currently, gadgets have become an inseparable part of our daily lives. However, when it comes to children, it becomes a controversy. The role of parents is very important in addressing this, because excessive use of gadgets can lead to dependency, sleep disturbances, and emotional and mental disorders.

Excessive use of gadgets can lead to addiction and cause children to have less social interaction, and even affect their emotional and mental well-being. This is because children do not fully understand the dangers of excessive gadget use. They tend to spend their time playing with gadgets and engage less in activities or socializing. Their days are spent playing with gadgets to the extent that they cannot communicate well with their surroundings, including their own families. They may express all their emotions by forgetting what they feel while playing with gadgets.

Children who are addicted to playing gadgets are worried to be exposed to inappropriate content. Because of their young age, they tend to imitate the behaviors they see on gadgets, as they do not yet understand what is right and what is wrong. Without strict supervision, they could easily access inappropriate content. This can disrupt their moral and emotional development. Therefore, children need strict supervision and limits while playing with gadgets.

One more thing, children who spend too much time playing with gadgets are exposed to the radiation emitted by these devices. This can harm their eye health. It is very concerning if children develop eye problems caused by excessive gadget use.

Therefore, strict supervision from parents is necessary to prevent children from experiencing the many dangers associated with excessive gadget use. Parents can offer alternative activities so that their children do not always resort to gadgets; they can play, tell stories, or engage in outdoor activities. Gadgets can be beneficial if used appropriately and for positive purposes.
