So that later it can be produced in Bengkulu and we are trying to do our coaching so that there is a batik industry in Bengkulu that can stand, "he said.
On one occasion, Rohidin even asked officials to buy besurek batik. He emphasized this request to preserve besurek batik and promote Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) which are engaged in batik crafts.
"It is not enough just to love domestic products, especially batik, but buy it as a form of commitment and responsibility to preserve ancestral culture while preserving the the batik industry that is produced by SMEs, "said Rohidin
