Hampir sama dengan kata 'Why' ini adalah kata tanya lain yang terkadang memicu respons terbuka. Oleh karena itu sangat ideal untuk digunakan dalam diskusi.  

Pertanyaan: 'How do you touch a rainbow?'

Jawaban: 'By finding where it begins'

Kata tanya 'Who' juga dapat digunakan untuk menemukan jawaban atas pertanyaan langsung.

Pertanyaan: 'How do I open the door?'

Jawaban: 'Try turning the handle'
