Abstrack

Verbal communication is an important aspect in early childhood development. A role-playing approach, where children are involved in simulating real-life situations, can be an effective learning strategy to improve their verbal communication skills. This research aims to analyze the influence of the role-playing approach in PAUD learning on the verbal communication skills of young children. Early childhood (0-6 years) is a golden period for children's development, including in the aspect of verbal communication. During this period, children experience rapid growth and development, including the ability to speak and understand language. Good verbal communication skills are very important for children to be able to interact with other people, express themselves, and learn.

Verbal communication is a child's ability to interact and convey information to the surrounding environment or to other people. The roleplaying approach is a learning strategy that involves children in simulating real life situations. In role playing children can pretend to be other people, carry out different actions, and use language to communicate with each other. The benefits of a role-playing approach for early childhood development include improving verbal communication, improving social and emotional skills, increasing creativity and imagination.
