Eyeless Love

You don't realize that in couple weeks you will start high school, the restlessness screaming day after day. Your name is Jacob Rex, you were born in country that has a thousand islands to be precise in the city of castle, you were born when Spider-Man's Tobey Maguire was a huge hit at the box office.

When you were young you were very active, super outgoing, as you grow up you start losing your outgoing nature as you start feeling the bitterness of the world but when it comes to family, close friends, and especially lover you become super outgoing like when you were young.

That is why you get so anxious when you enter high school, a completely new environment, new friends, new teacher, and many new more thing. "what if I do not get friends, what if I do not understand the lesson, what if I blablablabla" words that you repeat over and over again get stuck in your head without letting them out.

Long story short, at the beginning of the first day of school you don't know where to go because you haven't memorized in and out of your new school but, you know your classroom is at room number one. About ten minutes looking for a class you finally found the room, when you enter there are many strange faces you do not dare to look because it's increase your anxiety because, if someone approach you, you do not know what to do but, you are safe as the bell rings as a signal that ceremony will begin. Immediately after the ceremony, you and all the new students will gather to introduced to their respective mentors for student orientation time, whose job it is to adapt you to the new environment.

Before you came to this high school you have already knew that student orientation time will be held by your new school and you are afraid that this SOT is only tool for seniors and alumni to bully the new student because in your country this thing is very common in every school. After you knew who are the two mentor for your class the first mentor, his name is David he seem very scary, and the second her name is Diana she is pretty and seem kind.

After the introduction of the mentors, you and all the new students told to leave the field and immediately go to your own class to begin the SOT. In the class David and Diana told us to make a self introduction and one by one students will be call and stand up to introduce theirself, of course your anxiety level sky-rocket you are confuse what to do when self introduction one by one the students already introduce theirself and it is finally your turn to self introduction you force yourself to stand up and make the introduction.

"m..my....nam...name.is...Jacob..Jacob Rex, I wasborn 25 july2002 inDistrictTangerang, myhobby isplaygame and watchingmovie, nice to meet yall" You stammering and turn out like you were rapping because you were very nervous and it made the whole class laugh you only awkwardly smile to hide your greatest shame on your life but, little that you know that your ridiculous introduction will make you have a meaningfull high school life and beside all of the laugh from all of the student there is one face you take a good look that she only laugh but her face is so beautiful, you ask to your self how beautiful she became if she smile to you. After a not bad introduction by you and every student in class have already introduce theirself the mentors take us on a little trip to every corner of the school so we can adapt to the environment.

It's finally done the first day high school is done you relieved and cannot wait to go home lying around in your bed but, before that many student come to you and say that they want to be your friends so you accept them with a widely smile that you ever had, and there is one boy that you feel he is a very outgoing person his name is Christopher Cory, fortunately he live and born same as you only month and date of birth is different. "Hello Rex my name is Cory, Christopher Cory" he said with a loud voice that can hear by all the student in class, "Hi Cory nice to meet you" you said with a vague voice, "coincidentaly we live and born same place so we both neighbors and classmates, I think we can be a good partner I cant wait to see that!" Cory said, "yeah I guess we can" you said. So, you apparently will get a partner you happy but too tired to jump and after many student came to you finally you can go home and Cory does not forget to say goodbye.

When you arrived at home you realized that the girl with a beautiful self does not come to you to be friend but you want her to be your friend maybe even more and yes when self introduction the girl make an introduction but you do not listening because you are too nervous about your introduction so, you make a plan for tommorow in the school how to get to know her often people will think you just ask her name and other cheap question but introvert people do not do that because they are to afraid to wrong so, you text Cory to ask opinion about the plan Cory already give her number to you at school by the way and the only thing that Cory say is "Just come to her and ask her name, Rex" and you reply "it is easy for you but not for me", "alright then I will talk first but the rest is yours" Cory suggested, "ok I will use your plan" you reply and the conversation end.

The next morning you go to school, you meet Cory in the school gate and you want to talk about last night's plan but Cory has to go to the bathroom nature calling. So, the plan postponed and you walk to the class alone feel unconfident and lonely it makes you walk faster but unknowingly you run into somebody than has small body than yours without further a do you grab fast her hand afraid that she might fall to the ground and unexpectedly the person that you run into is the beautiful girl that you really want to know.

You panic wildly because you're afraid that she is going to get hurt or, you are just embarrassed that your first meeting with her is like this. "ar...are..you..okay?!" you said, "ohh it is alright I am glad that you hold my hand so tight" she say with a soft voice, you relieved and let go her hand there was a few seconds of silence and she start to talk. "you are Rex right? Jacob Rex from class one, your introduction yesterday was so funny" she said while chuckling remembering your introduction,  "yes I am Jacob Rex you are..." you answered but feel stupid for not knowing her name and then you pretended to remember, "Ptera my name is Abigail Ptera, you must be not pay attention to my introduction right??" she said with a little bit anger, "so..sorry" you said with regret, "hahaha take it easy Rex, the good thing is you now know my name right so, lets go to the class we almost late" she said while walking with you to the class "OK" the only word that come from your mouth.

Coincidentally you are destined to meet Ptera directly, however that should not be the way to meet her, and after looking closely at her face it is so beautiful, you believe the word angel that come down from heaven is true, you immediately drop that thought and then continue the school.

Long story short, you school days looks very good because the lesson are not to difficult to understand, Cory more familiar with you, and of course Ptera, your "crush" become more beautiful day after day. In your mind you think Ptera also has a crush on you and when exactly two weeks before midterm exam you gather all of your courage and all of your energy to declare your love to Ptera but,as usual you need a good plan, and of course you talk about this with Cory, and Cory said "just come to her and propose, done". This time you feel that is a way that you want to propose to Ptera so, exactly one weeks before exam you will declare your love to Ptera after school you ask Ptera to have a meet in the class after there is no other, and the time begin.

Ptera come to the class and you were there but not immediately propose you and Ptera have a little talk about how's the day, how the study for exam, and many more after a little talk you said "Ptera I want to ask you something", "what it is Rex" she said, "I know this sound crazy but, the first I met you I think I have...I have.." you said nervously, "yes??" Ptera said, "I think Ihave acrush onyou and ithink this soundcrazy but doyou want tobemygirlfriend"you said so nervous that you break out in a cold sweat and become a rapper, Ptera burst into laugh and said "hahaha Rex you talk like the first you introduce yourself", "so??" you ask, "yeah of course, I want to be your girlfriend" she shyly replied, "alright cool yeah" you said calmly but deep down in your mind you scream "yeessssssss!!!", "so see you tomorrow then?" you ask, "yeah see you tomorrow" she said shyly, and both of us go home left each other happily.

The next day, when the sun hasn't shown its nose yet, you wake up happily to get ready for school, when you're ready, you go straight to school, you've imagined how you met Ptera with only imagine that with smile so widely. The minute you arrived at school you walk run to the class to hopefully meet Ptera there and say hi, you arrived at the class and yes the face you meet first was the one and only your girlfriend "hi Ptera, go...good morning" you said, "hello there Rex good morning" she said, "ah yes I want to..a...ask you if you want to stu..study together with me for exam? Because I can't understand mostly all of the lesson especially math, Please" you ask Ptera for study together, Ptera chuckle at first and happily accept the invitation.

After our conversation Cory arrived at the class and after see both of us together talk he immediately ask me "mission accomplished Rex?", "mission accomplished!" you said and time passed in school as usual, when it is time to go home you go to Ptera "hey, so where we want to study together? Your home? My home? Or somewhere else?" you ask, "I think I like to come to your home" she said, "really? Alright then, you want to go home first to change clothes maybe or immediately to my home?" you said, "just straight to your home do not worry about my clothes" she said, "okay, shall we go then?" you said with a wide smile and Ptera said "Yes!".

You and Ptera go to your home with your motorcycle, on the way it is just majority silence, you confuse what shoul you ask to start a conversation, suddenly Ptera said "awww look at that cat he is so cute", "where?" ask you, "there!! Beside the big tree over there" she said loudly, "ohh yes he is cute, so you like cat?" you said, "yes of course who does not like cat" she answer and you just nod. Finally after a few minutes we finally arrive at your home, you please Ptera to come in first to your home while you park your motorcycle, after you park your motorcycle you run to the house but, you surprised that Ptera has already chitchat with your mother and it seems that they go well together.

So because Ptera and your mother have already a conversation, your mother shock that you have a beautiful girlfriend because you did not tell her, after the clarification and other you finally got a change to study together with Ptera in the living room your mother let both of you study and she go to her room. You talk with Ptera about your mother for a minute then, start to study it is actual not a study together it's mostly Ptera that study and even teach you about the lesson.

After the study you accompany Ptera to her home do not forget to say goodbye to your mother on the way to Ptera's house you asked Ptera many things about the study that held in your home and after like fifteen minutes you arrived at Ptera's house. But, you confused how can Ptera's house so quiet there are no peoples then Ptera say it is because her parents working and often late to go home, knowing the answer you just noded and before go home you ask Ptera for tomorrow's study where want it to be she immediately answer she want to study in your home because your mother will felt lonely and her home there are no peoples.

Day after day after school you always study together with Ptera, you make a progress in your study that before you always teach by Ptera and now you already balance with Ptera even there are several lesson that you teach Ptera but your math still bad not only after school you study but also weekend. Exactly the day before the first exam you study with Ptera as usual and accompany to her home after the study, "Ma, I will go accompany Ptera to her home" you said, "auntie, Ptera permit to go home" Ptera said, "alright, be careful you two" said your mother while still focused on watching television, "auntie why so focused on the news?" Ptera ask, "yes Ma what the news that make you so focused?" you also ask,  "it is about corruptor" your mother answer, "ohh that stupid corruptor like a parasite to the country! it is good that they got caught, I will be ashamed if I become their children, I will lock myself in bedroom forever" you said loudly, "do not bother yourself Rex corruptors are not worth to talk, just hurry accompany Ptera to her home" said your mother and at last you accompany Ptera to her home.

On the road you ask to Ptera about tomorrow exam but Ptera answer is always short at that time, you think it just only because Ptera might be tired and you do not feel strange about her not as loud as usual. When arrived at Ptera's home you immediately go because your mother send message to you to buy something because the shop soon will closed, so you say "goodbye Ptera, see you tomorrow" and Ptera said "Okay bye-bye", you go and Ptera come to her home.

At the night you try to chat Ptera about tomorrow exam but Ptera did not answer your chat, you think it is probably because Ptera has already sleep so you also sleep to recharge energy for tomorrow.

The next day you go to school with a happy mood not because first day of exam but of course you can meet Ptera, as you arrived at school you walk fast to class, in the middle you meet Cory and say "good morning Cory", "good morning Rex, by the way do you know about" Cory said but cut by you "sorry Cory we will talk later I must go to class first" you said while walking fast direct to the class.

You finally arrived and after a minute look for Ptera in the class you do not find her, you probably think Ptera late so you sit on your chair with a sour face. Soon after that Cory arrived and said "hey Rex", "what is it about Cory?" you said with little annoyed, "I want to talk about Ptera" Cory said, your annoyed face turn into serious "what's about Ptera?" you said, "you watch news yesterday right?" cory ask, "yeah about that stupid corruptor, what does that have to do with Ptera?" you said, "Rex, they are Ptera's Parents" Cory said.

You become quiet you cannot believe what you hear, "you serious Cory?! Ask you, "Yes Rex, and Ptera also send message for you" Cory said while give his phone to you, you look at the phone and read the message "Rex, I moved to other city to lived with my grandma because my home got seized and I do not know until when I need to stay with my grandma" shortly after, you get a message from Ptera "Hello Rex, sorry I can't tell you about my parents, I just can't and I want our journey end here, thank you for the happiness that you give and give my love to your mother hope she will always healthy and goodbye Rex I hope you live happily ever after".
