Fourth, students are also required to live simply because knowledge is a way to train themselves. In the process of studying, students are prohibited from being extravagant. Excessiveness diverts students from the spirit of seeking knowledge. However, even though this is recommended, students must also know their limits, so that their efforts don't bother them until they feel weak.
Fifth, a student of knowledge should not act hastily. Al-Zarnuji explained, "don't be in a hurry to face your problem, but let it be first." The scientist is calm because he is knowledgeable, not reactionary, and not easily provoked. This is because he is used to doing analyzes when he gets information. Thus, he is calm when faced with a problem.
Sixth, knowledge is like water, it will be clear when it flows. So, an expert in knowledge will not hide his knowledge. If knowledge is hidden, then he will forget. A person who hides knowledge will fail to achieve the fruit of knowledge because one of the practices of knowledge is eliminating the stupidity of others.
Seventh, quoting Ali bin Abi Talib, a student should not talk much. "A man who is perfect in reason will speak little. If a man talks too much, then be sure of his ignorance."
Some ethical and moral guidelines for the prosecution of knowledge (students) in carrying out teaching and learning activities. First, encouragement to always learn; Second, the obligation to study and practice commendable morals and stay away from those that are reprehensible; Third, the prohibition to study shamanism; Fourth, strengthening or making intentions in studying; Fifth, have the nature of tawadhu; Sixth, must be smart in choosing a teacher; Seventh, must be smart in choosing the type of knowledge; Eighth, must advise each other to fellow students of knowledge.
