Did you know what is native language?

Native language is the language or dialect that someone learns first, or the language that their parents first use with them. It can also be defined as the language that a person has spoken since early childhood.

But what if English is not our first language? can we make it as our first language? the answer is NO! because It really isn't possible; "native language" means the first language you spoke as a child. If you didn't speak English as a child it can never be your "native language". But you can lean to speak English both fluently and naturally.

How to be fluent in English? here's some ways:

  • Practice pronunciation: Listen to native speakers and try to imitate their pronunciation, emphasis, and intonation. You can also try reading aloud in English to improve your clarity.
  • Learn phrases: Learn phrases in addition to individual words and grammar.
  • Immerse yourself in English: Watch English movies or shows, listen to English music, and read English books.
  • Spend time with native speakers: Talking with a native speaker is one of the most important steps you can take to sound more like a native English speaker.
  • Associate words with everyday life: Try to get familiar with things in your everyday life in English.
  • Be consistent: Take it one step at a time and be consistent in your practice.
  • Don't force yourself to speak: Don't be discouraged if you make mistakes or don't understand everything
