Marriage is a combination between love, faithful and future life. If you marry someone means that you are going to build your future with him/her eternally. Moreover, your future life is according to your love and how faithful you are. In addition, the more faithful you are, your future life must be eternal. Keeping faithful is not only for the woman but also the man. Allah creates man also woman to complete each other. Women are mostly faithful because she is trying to give the best treatment into her family. Sometimes men cannot really feel in the best way, or vice versa.
A man should have a wife for the family and mistress for pleasure. This statement is really humiliating a woman as a lady. As I stated before, woman is trying to serve the best treatment for his husband and also her children. Being a mother is not simple as other people thinks. Generally, today ladies are also working as a carrier woman, lecturer, lawyer, civil servant or etc. All those way is only for supporting her spouse in daily life. On the other hand, a lady has to handle her house, take a care her baby, cooking and also cost management. How grateful I am as a lady.
For example, take a look at your mother. She is pregnant in nine months then still struggle to keep her children safe from anything. Just imagine if a man leaves a woman is only for mistress for his pleasure, can you just only remember to your mother? As a human being, we should remember our promises in front of our parents, big family even Allah. Our ijab qobul means our promises stated in front of clan headman (penghulu) as a responsibility to build our family later. Consequently, we have to keep the promise and give the best as we can do.
Last, we have to consider everything because of build a family is not simple as we think. Because of having a mistress for pleasure is not a good way. You have to remember the faith, sincerity and promise that you take in front of the people. Therefore in a family must be so many gravels that we have to face with our spouse. Obviously, that is God’s way to raise our belief.
