The health service system in Indonesia still faces many challenges originating from several factors. One of the main factors affecting the health system is inequality of access. Many people, especially in remote areas, still have difficulty getting adequate health services. Geographical factors and limited infrastructure can be the main obstacles to achieving quality health services. Apart from that, human resource problems in the health sector, such as a lack of medical personnel and nurses, are also a serious obstacle. The gap between urban and rural health facilities needs to be addressed so that all communities can enjoy the same rights to obtain health services. Therefore, serious efforts are needed from both the government and related parties to improve the accessibility and quality of health services throughout Indonesia.
