if you already see the video clip, well yes it's really 80's ^^, their faces, their hairdo, their clothes, it is the 80's hehe ... but lets talk about the band who sing this song, the name is Münchener Freiheit or you can simply called them freiheit. i don't think i can pronounce it right =D

this German pop and rock band are best known for this single in the English speaking world around 1988.

they are pretty popular in Europe, and most of their songs are of course in German. keeping the dream alive is the only hit in the UK chart.

the lyrics are very clear but i still couldn't find the true meaning of this song, and so i'm afraid that i don't have much to say ... but that the writer is so persistent with what he had in mind.

it seems to me that the writer is trying to convince someone he loved, that whatever they dreamed of, they can achieved it, as long as they keep the dream alive, in terms of believing it can come true by making it happen, and he can't do this alone. so no matter what happens in the past, or what other people says about you and your dreams, the game isn't over yet, this life you have isn't over yet, cause you are the one who can keep the dreams alive ...
