Education system in Indonesia currently implementing a National Education System, which is compulsory education for 6 years of elementary school, 3 years of junior high school and 3 years of high school. It is must be familiar for us to see students using formalities uniform as a sign of the school level that they passed. This National Education System seeks to provide academic knowledge, skills and positive attitudes from elementary school. Besides that, education in Indonesia is currently implementing K13 System or 2013 Curriculum System where the students are taught to be more active, creative and innovative in the class.

But, since March 2020, COVID-19 or Corona Virus, has gradually hit several major cities in Indonesia and the cases continue to increase. This cases, has an impact on the teaching and learning proceses at school or campus. And now students are forced to online study from their home. Zoom, Gmeet, Gclassroom applications are the most used as a media for this online study via laptops or cellphones.

In fact, elementary school students are indirectly told to understand laptop or cellphone technology that supports for they school learning. While, junior and senior high school students who already understand this techology can sit around and feel free while there is a following class schedule that must be attend. If elementary school student is watching by their parents during class, but not for junior and senior high school students.

If the class has been started, usually the students turn off their mic and camera so they can join the class freely. It means they can eat, lie down, chat with friends, and do something else that is not related with the subject. So the teacher's time to deliver the material is wasted bacause many students don't listen and not focus on paying attentions in online class, so the learning method doesn't work effectively. And than there is a chance that students don't understand the material presented and lazy to asking.

Not only the method of delivering the material is virtual, but also giving assignments vitually such as through Gforms or Gdrive, and there is no handwritten assignments so the students can do it simply, practically and not waste a lot of time.  However giving assignments like this doesn't rule out the possebility for students to copy and paste each other and from the internet. So they get good grades not based on their own work but based through on their friends and the internet. Seeing this conditions, doesn't rule out those who spread tips and tricks to make it easier while we get our online assignments. There are many spread on the internet and social media, ways to make it easier to get answer keys without asking our friends. Just lokk at the tutorial to get the answer keys that has been hidden, and than the students gonna make a perfect score for their assignments.

However there is the value of students creativity is still being tested. If they get tasks such as making posters, mind maps, and videos, they can freely develop according to their ideas as interesting and creative as possible with the help from supporting applications.

As a summary, the current education system is not running smoothly due this pandemic, so the socialization between the students and teachers is hindered.

Nobody knows when this pandemic will end and when this education system will work as before, now we can only pray that this pandemic will end quickly. Always wear your mask outside and follow the health protocols.

Stay Safe and Stay at Home !
