Episode 4 "Woe What a Night"
In this episode, the students of Nevermore Academy attend the annual Rave'N Dance, with Wednesday reluctantly joining in.
In Episode 4 of "Wednesday," Wednesday was about to cut up a body to perform her own investigation. She knew how to do an autopsy, and she was well prepared for this because she and her family were jacks of all trades. She even mentioned that on her 13th birthday, her uncle gave her a cadaver. While Thing was still photocopying the images, the coroner and Galpin arrived at the lab, so Wednesday hid inside an empty cabinet. Eugene ventured into the cave in the middle of the night, despite Wednesday warning him not to go there alone because it was dangerous.
Episode 5 "You Reap What You Woe"
Episode 5 of "Wednesday" is titled "You Reap What You Woe". During Parents Weekend, Wednesday digs into her family's past and accidentally gets her dad arrested. She is trying to figure out what happened the night her dad was accused of killing someone back when he was a student at Nevermore. In a flashback, we see a young Larissa giving a statement to the police blaming Wednesday's father for the murder. Wednesday confronts her mom and asks her to tell her the truth about what happened to Garrett. Morticia confesses that she accidentally stabbed him while trying to save Gomez. By the end of the episode, Wednesday discovers Principal Weems' secret: that she's a shapeshifter and was the one who posed as Rowan the day after he was murdered.
Episode 6 "Happy Lonely Day to You"
Episode 6 of "Wednesday" is titled "Happy Lonely Day to You". In this episode, Wednesday's friends throw her a surprise birthday party, but she would rather mark the occasion by solving the murders. Wednesday performs a seance to try to contact Goody Addams to teach her how to control her psychic abilities. She receives a mysterious letter under the door, which leads her to Crackstone's crypt. Wednesday discovers a suspicious Latin inscription inside the tomb: "Fire will rain when I rise". The episode delves deep into the Raven mythology and shows how Wednesday's fate is to always look for the darkness in other people. Instead of thanking her friends for their kindness, Wednesday lets everyone know how she's annoyed. She shuts down everyone who tries to demonstrate affection for her, a habit that will make her lose some good friends and allies.
Episode 7 "If You Don't Woe Me by Now"
In Episode 7 of "Wednesday" titled "If You Don't Woe Me by Now," Wednesday returns to her dorm to find it completely trashed and Thing stabbed and suspended against the post. She is panicked and traumatized, but she manages to protect Fester from the monster murders while continuing her investigation into them. Unfortunately, there are no further details available about the plot of this episode. However, previous episodes have shown that Wednesday is trying to solve the murders at Nevermore Academy while also uncovering secrets about her family's past.
Episode 8 "A Murder of Woes"
Episode 8 of "Wednesday" is titled "A Murder of Woes". In this episode, Wednesday meets with Tyler in the woods and confronts him about being the Hyde. Tyler denies the allegations and asks Wednesday why she would confront him alone in the woods if she really thought he was the Hyde. Wednesday replies that she didn’t come alone; she’s brought a few sirens along and Bianca uses her powers to sedate him. They take him to Xavier’s art studio and tie him down on the chair with chains. Wednesday starts interrogating him and discovers that Tyler's mom was a Hyde and she thinks Tyler got the genes from her. Tyler pleads that being a son of an outcast doesn’t necessarily make him a monster. Meanwhile, Ms. Thornhill starts her ritual and awakens Crackstone who promises his vengeance will be swift and true. Wednesday tries to confront him but he stabs her and they leave her for dead. Goody appears before her and tells her how to defeat Crackstone. She tells her to use the power of love, which is the only thing that can defeat him.
