Certain words, we don't say all the syllable and all the letters.

Example :

  • Comfortable ( Com-fort-able )

The native speaker don't say "or". So we can read "Comf-ta-bil" . And notice the last sound is like a small or little "i" in there. And we don't pronouce the "or" between Comf(or)table.

  • Interesting ( in-chre-sting)

Find out what the syllable are so: in-ter-rest-ing" if you want to emphasize something, we have a word called "enunciate". When someone want to emphasize a word, then they enunciate each syllable, they say each syllable separately.

3. Squeeze letter

This is particularly true for a few letters. When we have "tr" together in one word usually sounds like "chr"

For example :

  • Country become Cun-chry
