"Fort de Hock" Must Visit Cultural Heritage in Salatiga, Central Java

Salatiga City is a retired city located at the northern foot of Mount Merbabu, 49 kilometers south of Semarang City and 52 kilometers north of Solo City. Salatiga City, which is positioned on the mountain's downward side, offers cold air and is well-known for its culinary tourism and natural beauty. 

Recently, this city has officially launched a new cultural heritage called Fort de Hock. This place used to be an abandoned place in the Salatiga Police Station area. But the government and the police unit here have made successful restoration for this place to be one of the Beautiful Heritage Tourism Places in this city. Fort de hock was built during the Dutch colonial period around 1870. Starting in early March 2020 under the direction of the Salatiga Police Chief, AKBP Rahmad Hidayat, S.S.
