Dika Angkasaputra Moerwani Nasution or know as Raditya Dika, is a well-known Indonesian comedian. Who is unfamiliar with Raditya Dika? He has a diverse career as a writer, director, actor, influencer, and YouTuber in addition to his comedy work. This forty-year-old prominent personality was born on December 28, 1984, in Jakarta.Â
He finished his high school education in SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta. He continued his studies at the University of Adelaide in Australia, focusing on Finance, and the University of Indonesia, concentrating in Social and Political Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Social Sciences (S.Sos). Radit (as he is known to his followers) began his career as an artist in 2005 before launching his YouTube channel, Raditya Dika, in 2008, which he continues to manage today. Radit has 10.2 million subscribers and a combined 2 billion views.
His literary career began in 2005 with his debut novel, Kambing Jantan: Sebuah Catatan Harian Pelajar Bodoh. Â This novel is based on Radit's own real-life experiences while studying in Australia. The book, written in the style of a journal, recounts Radit's experiences as an Indonesian student studying abroad. Although Radit began his writing career with a new, anti-mainstream genre at the time, he was able to differentiate himself from other writers and became a well-known author via the works he released. Since his debut book in 2005, he has successfully released nine novels and two comic books.Â
Radit is not only a successful writer, but also an excellent entertainer. He is a prominent senior figure in the "stand-up comedy" scene. As a result, he was trusted as one of the judges in Indonesia's premier stand-up comedy talent search event, Stand Up Comedy Indonesia. Radit made his directorial debut in 2014 with a film based on his own material, Marmut Merah Jambu (Pink Marmot). In addition, this multi-talented guy has been on television as a host, one of which was in the show Provocative Proactive on Metro TV, and as an actor in the film Kambing Jantan (2009), which he authored. Radit decided to marry Indonesian actress called Annisa Aziza. They presently have two children, a girl and a son. Their first child, a girl called Alinea Ava Nasution, was born on May 6, 2019, and their second, a boy named Aksara Asa Nasution, arrived on November 3, 2020. Radit is now not only entrenched in the entertainment industry but also learning how to invest in stocks.Â
His interest in investing began at the age of 21, when he placed his first contribution into a bank account.
