If I Was President of Indonesia, This Is what I Would Do to Fight Corona Virus

As we all know the number of people infected by the corona virus in Indonesia is increasing day by day. The numbers show 2200 positive cases, 200 deaths and 160 recovered. It will be troublesome if the numbers kept increasing, so this is why the president have to take more measures in trying to fight this global pandemic.

If i was president of Indonesia I would have done several drastic measures. One of them being a strict rule in isolation and social distancing, We know that Indonesia that Indonesia has not gone on lock down yet, but what i want to happen is to minimize more the people going outside.

I want to set rules and consequences to the people going outside despite the virus. They will be given penalty or be responsible with their actions that can harm other people, they will either be fined or caught. 

I also understand the problem that some people need to outside to work to earn for themselves and their family. In this situation, as a president, I would like to provide those people with daily necessities. I will send them things like food, cooking oil, detergent, anything a person needs in daily living. 

By doing this I will also enforce a law that they can no longer go out. By doing this, I know many businesses will suffer, but it is necessary, Im sure if we do this for a while it will help to lessen the pandemic and we can go out again.

As a president I would also like to do what President Jokowi is doing and that is rapid testing for the corona virus. All people in Indonesia need to test if their are positive to the virus or not. 

This will make us watch out more to the people around us. If we do this, The number of positive patients will skyrocket, but these people will be taken to quarantine or isolation immediately as to not endager the people around them. This way we can be more aware that the corona virus spread fast and we will be more cautious.

Another thing I want to ensure as president is the use of masks.  The use of masks is impotant in fighting this virus because masks can protect us from the virus. I want to enforce a law that everyone is required to wear masks if they are going outside. 

Whether they are entering a building or using public transportations such as taxis, buses, MRT or trains. They will not be allowed in, if they are not wearing any masks. This way everyone will have no choice, but to use a mask wherever they go. 

I am also aware that the number of masks maybe short beacuse of the people that hoard them to sell for a higher price. I will make this illegal, I will use the system they have in South korea.
