Table 4.2.g shows the various scores gotten by the students regarding their ability level in writing composition. There is no student (0%) gets score 26-30 (Excellent) and gets scores 21-25 (Very Good). There are 15 students (75%) get scores 16-20 (Good). There are 5 students (25%) gets scores 11-15 (Average). There is no student (0%) gets score 6-10 (Below Average) and gets score 0-5 (Bad).

CHAPTER V

CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS

In this chapter, the writer explains about the conclusions and suggestions based on the result of the study.

5.1Conclusions

After long analysis on students’ compositions, the writer comes out to write the following conclusions:

1.The Third Year Students of SMPK St. Yoseph Kupang are able to write composition.

2.The students’ level of ability is 16.8 (Good).

5.2Suggestions

Although the result of the study shows that the students are able to write a composition with the level are good, the writer needs to propose the following suggestions:

1.The teacher needs to consider the students’ English grammar, vocabulary, and fluency because this study proves that the students committed many mistakes on those aspects.

2.The students are required to enrich their grammar, vocabulary; particularly the use of appropriate tenses, regular and irregular verbs, the use of auxiliary verbs, and the use of full verbs in the sentences.
