Pekanbaru -- News of the ups and downs of fuel oil (BBM) prices seems familiar to our ears. Even several types of fuel oil (BBM) at Pertamina gas stations have increased and decreased in the last 3 years, Tuesday (05/11/2019).
The increase in the price of fuel oil, especially premium types, experienced a significant increase, ranging from Rp. 7,000 per liter. This price increased from the price of premium fuel oil which previously ranged from Rp. 6,550 per liter.
Meanwhile, several other types of fuel oil, such as Pertamax, Dexlite, Pertalite, Pertamac Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Bio Solar, experienced a decline in prices in 2019. The news of the increase and decrease in fuel prices has indeed been circulating in the community, which is allegedly spread through WhatsApp groups.
"We make sure (the news circulating) is a hoax," said PT Pertamina (Persero) Vice President Corporate Communication Fajriyah Usman to Kompas.com. He revealed that until now Pertamina has not planned to change the price of fuel oil.
Types of fuel oil that experienced a decrease in price ranged from Rp. 50 to Rp. 800. It is known that Pertamina Dex has decreased its price from Rp. 11,750 per liter to Rp 11,700 per liter, which means a decrease of Rp. 50. The price of Dexlite fuel oil has decreased from Rp. 10,300 per liter to Rp. 10,200 per liter, this means that the price has decreased by Rp. 100. The price of Pertalite type of fuel has decreased by around Rp. 150, from the price of 7,800 per liter to Rp. 7,650 per liter. Pertamax also experienced a fairly high price decline, namely Rp. 350 from the price of Rp. 10,200 per liter to Rp. 9,850 per liter. And the highest decline in the price of fuel oil, namely the fall there was Pertamax Turbo fuel oil, namely from the price of Rp. 12,000 decreased by Rp. 800 to Rp. 11,200 per liter. Meanwhile, Bio-Solar fuel oil has a fixed price of Rp. 9,800 per liter.
