DocPribadi/Naples/Florida
In this quiet moment on a sandy beach
I watch the far away horizon
Showing its anger
by bathing the slabs of clouds above
and the water beneath in crimson
Nearby, a chubby little girl pouring her soda into her mouth
while staring at me.
On the corner, some old folks standing patiently waiting fish grabbing their baits
And a security guard talking with visitors in front of me
Occasionally a naughty wind cares my hair
And the heat burning my shoulders
Making my paralyzed left arm more painful
Which I never care it anymore
I have told you how I am doing here
And you said." Great,"
Which is not enough
to cure my lonesome
When the night finally falls
And the beach blanked in gray
I am still here
Watching the horizon, and your image sinking gradually on the west
Visitors still come and gone
And the pier still standing inside the fog
with me, dreaming, someday you will be here with the kids
Watching the crimson horizon from the Naples Pier
The art of fiction
In the quietness surrounding of Staybridge Suites, Naples Florida
