Analisis Film Animasi "Anne Frank's Diary"

Culture and religious belief

In this movie, I found out that Family and god are the first priority for the Jews. It is important for them to stay together especially in facing difficult time. They also always try to engage in their religious ritual even in hard situations for instance the members of Annex always celebrate their religious ritual in the hiding and dr duessel always prays every day in the hiding . Besides, they live based on their commonly cultural rules such as respecting elders is a must , it is considered impolite to talk back to elders, table manner rule must be applied and so on

The reasons why I love this movie:
1. It teaches me that there is no more valuable things in this world than the love and warmness of family
2. All people dream of freedom because when they are free, they can realize what their life mission is
War is the most terrible thing on earth. There is no good thing people can get from war. Only pain, sadness, death and suffer. War is only the tangible result of selfishness, envy, revenge, greediness
Parents should give freedom to their children to choose the way how they want to live their lives and children should always love and respect parents no matter how they have different perspectives in many ways from them

My favourite characters in this movie:
Anne Frank
Anne is a smart young girl who has bold personality. She is confident, straightforward, critical and courageous. She always has great courage to speak up and do what she believes it is true. She has confidence to express her opinions, ideas as well as critics to people. She is always curious on how the world works and realizes the process of  her self growth. She never pretends or hides what she thinks and feels. She does not like being controlled and  dictated, she even dares to tell some of her objections toward her parents' rules. She always sticks to her own principle. For her freedom (physical, mental and mind) is the main key of happiness
Otto Frank
Otto is a sweet husband and a lovely father for his children. Although his family and people have to face a lot of hard situations especially in the hiding place, he does successfully mange to stay and act calmly and wisely. He does teach the importance of education, reading, and manner to his children. He is a family man, always prioritizes his family over anything
