The Success of Domination Turnover and Offensive Rebound, Brought The Celtics Victory in Game 3 of The 2022 NBA Finals

Boston Celtics picked up another win in the NBA Finals game over the Golden State Warriors, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, local time. Playing in game 3 at TD Garden, the Celtics dominated the entire game and won 116-100.

Warriors only grabbed the lead early in the game, and fell behind by 2 points in the third quarter. The Warriors are actually still quite competitive with the Celtics in terms of accuracy. But in terms of offensive rebounds and turnovers, the Celtics won in a landslide.

Celtics grabbed 15 rebounds and scored 22 chance points. That further distanced the Warriors greatest point, who managed just six rebounds and converted 11 chance points. A good defense from the Celtics was also able to make the Warriors make 16 turnovers, compared to the Celtics who only committed 12 turnovers. At that number, Celtics were able to score 17 points and close out the Warriors momentum.

Jaylen Brown became the Celtics top scorer with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Jayson Tatum scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. These two players are the youngest duo in Celtics history to score more than 25+ points in a single final game. Marcus Smart also Returned to play well, with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The above trio is the first trio to have at least 20+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists in the Finals since the Lakers in 1984. Al Horford scored 11 points and 5 rebounds, while Robert Williams III performed solidly with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry continued his slick game trend with 31 points. Curry managed to affix 6/11 three points (54 percent) and 12/22 overall shots (54 percent). His team's duet, Klay Thomson played his best game to date in the final with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Klay made 5/13 three points (38 percent). Andrew Wiggins, who played 40 minutes, contributed 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Jordan Poole scored 10 points off the bench.

The 2-1 scoreline has secured by Celtics so far and Game 4 will be titled on Friday, June 10, local time.
