Why Chinese are "Cheapskates" and Locals are "Slackers": Historical Comparison & Assumption.

Historical facts  also don't help as the old dutch collonialists (not the current dutch,  we're totally cool!) intentionally use this prejudices to break us and  conquer us. So this prejudice between the chinese-indonesians and the  "natives" has not gave us benefits back then and that also won't gave us  any in the present, prejudice often lead to conflict, while  open-mindedness led to mutual understanding and could even lead to  compromise and possibly consensus which is also our 4th value in our  beloved ideology : Pancasila.

I  don't hate that taxi driver whom bash the chinese-indonesians, as a  chinese-indonesian what i can do is to do any good possible so that  people won't believe that stereotypes are true,because i believe that  one of the reason that people inherit the paradigm of prejudice is  because they do see it themselves ad they think it is a general truth  that are validated by their real life-experiences. I keep on trying not  to let my actions or words became the validation of my ethnic stereotype  being true. I believe that i don't need to fight fire with fire,  instead we'll extinguish the fire with water of kindness. as young  generation of this country, it's time to put the "chinese-native"  prejudice in the place it is belong...in the museum.
