How to Properly Dispose of Drugs

Inhalers or aerosol drugs are usually given to people with respiratory problems.

The correct way to dispose of inhaler or aerosol drugs, namely:

• If the package is completely empty, the inhaler container can be thrown directly into the trash. Do not puncture or tamper with the packaging as this may explode.
•  If you still have inhaler or aerosol medication left over, send this used medication to a hospital, health center, or clinic so that it can be safely disposed of with medical waste.
