Closing Ceremony of UMS 2023 Entrepreneur Expo, 400 Students Sell Their Products

Surakarta - The Independent Entrepreneurship Program (WMK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has finally reached the peak of its activities. The highlight was the closing of WMK UMS 2023 and Expo WMK UMS 2023, which was held at De Tjolomadoe Area, Karanganyar, on December 2 and 3, 2023.

Munajat Tri Nugroho as the Chief Executive of MBKM UMS and the Director of WMK UMS, the Independent Entrepreneurship program is intended to provide provisions to students.

According to Munajat, Monday (4/12/2023), "So this Wirausaha Merdeka activity is an activity in collaboration with Kemdikbudristek in order to provide provisions for students for entrepreneurship."

In addition, the director of WMK UMS 2023 said that 400 participants attended this WMK and Expo activity, consisting of 80 groups, from various universities in Java Island. This exhibition is the last activity of WMK.

After this activity ends, students will become entrepreneurs who can contribute and influence society. According to him, he wants to turn into an entrepreneur rather than an employee.

By becoming independent entrepreneurs, students are expected to prefer not to seek employment but to create new jobs and ensure that such activities remain.

WMK UMS 2023 students offered a variety of products and services. They were also very enthusiastic to persuade and peddle their products to potential buyers.
