Tahlil is a common activity held by Muslims in Indonesia. The contents of the tahlil series are the reading of dhikr, verses of the Qur'an, the sentence of monotheism and ending with a prayer. Tahlil is usually held once a week on Friday night after maghrib.
With the outbreak of the Corona virus, many community activities have to be postponed or even threatened with cancellation, one of which is tahlil. If tahlil is usually carried out regularly once a week in congregation, during a pandemic tahlil will still be carried out but on a smaller scale, namely in their respective homes.
Under new normal conditions, tahlil will be held in turns at residents' homes, but do not neglect health protocols, such as wearing masks, keeping a distance and washing hands. Food that is usually served as a buffet, is converted into catering to be eaten at home, as well as drinks that have been provided along with the food.
