Savhanna terkesan dengan pengalaman pertama melihat ritual persembahan seekor babi dan dua ekor ayam untuk prosesi magic itu. Dia melihat sang dukun menari sesuai irama gendang, mengelilingi "taman" yang didirikan di tengah rumah. Taman yang dimaksud merupakan perlengkapan ritual yang berupa batang yang ditegakkan dengan hias-hiasan dedaunan dan sesajian.
"I did, however, enjoy my very first ritual animal sacrifice, 2 chickens and a pig, so that was exciting! No need to worry!" komentarnya tentang ritual itu. (*)

Canadian Girl That Looks Like a Dayakness Princes
IT has been several days a student from Canada, Savhanna Wilson (24) enjoy a traditional Dayak life in our village, Balai Berkuak, District of Simpang Hulu, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. She admitted that she finds many things more than she ever imagined before.
"More beautiful here than I could have imagined," said Savhanna.
She said on Friday (15/4/11) morning was bathing in the river where the water is clear. She was accompanied by my younger sister, collecting some bamboo sprout (we say rebong in our local language) that they meet along the footpath.
Savhanna very interested in seeing the way that people are able to use the land around them for their daily lives. He called it a "sustainable lifestyle" and nature-based.
"As a Canadian, I am not able to experience regularly because of the climate of my home country. I look forward to enjoying the prepared bamboo shoots for dinner," said Savhanna.
