Rabbit Cultivation

Cilacap (4/5/2020)- Who does not know this one funny animal. Rabbit livestock business opportunities are quite promising because rabbits, including animals that are easily tamed, easy to adapt, and quickly breed.

Just as was done by Mr. Purwanto. Pak Pur, his nickname, began to cultivate this field since 6 months ago. Initially he was just trying to raise rabbits. The hare farmed is a type of cultivated rabbit. This type of rabbit is cultivated for meat consumption or for the skin and fur.

Mr. Pur initially only bought two female rabbit seeds. over time, he bought a male rabbit to mate. The marriage produced nine rabbits. However, two puppies of rabbits died so that the remaining seven puppies. These rabbits can reach two kilograms at four months.

"For the trouble usually when a rabbit gives birth. The problem is that when the rabbit gave birth a few days afterwards all her offspring died, "said Mr. Pur.

For food, Pak Pur usually gives grass or leaves around the cage in the morning and evening. He also gives water to rabbits that are placed in used mineral water. Rabbit droppings and urine can also be used as fertilizer and spraying for plants. Rabbit urine is filtered and can be directly used for spraying. 

The most ideal place for rabbit cages is far from human habitation, close to water sources, free from pollution, and far from predators. Each puppies and seedlings are distinguished cages. Mr. Pur will put a male rabbit into a female cage to mate. 

Pregnancy mother rabbits usually one month and can give birth to four to twelve children. For cleaning the cage itself, Mr. Pur cleans every three days, depending on his busy schedule.
