Every parent wants to provide the best education for their children. They research many methods to help their children develop to their potential. Recently, an issue about children learning at home called homeschooling has appeared in a society. There is a controversy, which is the better method for children, homeschooling or going to school.

There are some advantages when parents choose homeschooling. Firstly, the parents can give full attention to their children. The parents have more time to interact with their children than if their children in school. When the parents choose homeschooling, they can customize the method based on their preferences because the parents hold the authority. Beyond the authority, the parents can protect their children from the negative effects of social phenomena, such as bullying.

Even though homeschooling has some advantages, learning at school can’t be replaced completely by learning at home. When children learn at school, they can learn subjects from experts or a qualified. The intensity of socialization or interaction with their friends or their peers is much more than if children learn at home. Children will also learn about the variety of human character. They will also learn how to solve problems in their social life. Not only that, the infrastructure at the school is one of the most basic differences compare with the home. In the school, students can use facilitates such as the library, laboratory, gym, and musical instruments. In addition, many of the activities at school can’t be found at home, such as student organizations, extracurricular activities, student competitions, etc. Children at school have more occasions to explore their interests and potential.

Finally, this essay will conclude that learning at school is better for children than homeschooling, even though homeschooling has advantages. The school can provide more things to enhance the students experience in learning than homeschooling, including resources, expertise, student activities, socialization, and daily interaction. Homeschooling can’t be compare with learning at school.
