individuals and organizations to campaign on social issues such as
poverty, natural disasters, and injustice. Furthermore, social media
facilitates fundraising, real-time information dissemination, and the
organization of solidarity actions. This study employs a qualitative
approach by analyzing relevant case studies to explore the positive
impacts and challenges encountered. The findings reveal that social
media is effective in enhancing awareness and driving collective
actions, though the misuse of information needs to be addressed. This
article provides insights into strategically leveraging social media to
support sustainable social change.
