In this assignment I will choose a creative ad. there are lots of creative advertisements in Indonesia. As time goes by, advertising in Indonesia is getting more unique and creative. This is because creative advertising is considered to be able to take more people's attention. Besides that, with this creativity usually appears slogans which are very quirky and very easy to remember in the ears of the public.
One of the unique advertisements that I like is the ad from Ramayana in 2018. This ad is so unique that it went viral in 2018. The advertisement carries the concept of the Eid holiday and "ibu - ibu kosidah". what is unique is the song lyrics and funny vocal accents so that people are always reminded of the advertisement. Besides that, there is a part of mothers who go into the rice cooker which many people really like because it is considered "plot twist".
I find this kind of quirky ad very effective and very entertaining. why is it effective? This ad is made with a relatively simple concept and the jingle is not difficult but easy for many people to remember. if this song plays in their brain, indirectly if there is this song played in public places they will be reminded of that product or shop.
