The world was left shook today with the passing of the actor Chadwick Boseman. The 43-year-old actor died this morning, after battling with colon cancer for 4 years. While we continue to mourn his death, let's take a pause and try to learn from his incredible story.

We were all stunned by his unexpected death, simply because we have never heard him being sick let alone battling cancer. For years now we had seen him being featured in so many great movies and portraying so many amazing icons.

From Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in Major League Baseball, to playing the role of Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Supreme Court Judge. Then, the moment we would never forget, he came out as King T'Challa in the Marvel Movie Black Panther.

He became an icon then, not only as a great actor but as a great representation for the black community. Not stopping there, he continued to make amazing creations and produced his own movie in 2019 called 21 Bridges, all while he was struggling with his illness.

Now, what can we take from his amazing life? When we take a look around us, at our friends and families, be that from social media or from those who physically close to us, how many times do we hear them complain? How many times do we hear them whining, either about work, career, social life, or just life in general? How many times do they hear you complaining?

In life, we constantly face challenges that put us in uncomfortable situations. Having not enough time, not enough money, being overworked, anything. The majority of us would always complain once we were put in these distressing situations. The dangerous part, more often than not, complaining is ALL we do, yet we have done nothing to solve the problem.

However, hearing Chadwick Boseman's story, it is almost we were slapped in the face. Not only did he managed to build an amazing career and made phenomenal creations, but he also managed to do all of that while battling cancer.

It is a well-known fact that cancer is one of the deadliest illnesses there is, and it is incredibly hard and tiring trying win against it. Yet, he came out as an icon, as an idol, and we have never heard one single complaint from him regarding his battle.

It is not easy. When we are in a difficult situation, we always seem to want the world to know, for our friends to take pity on us, and for our closest one to comfort us. But if you think your discomfort right now is the one that holds you back from achieving greatness, and you can't do anything about it, then you need to think again.

Your limitations will eventually be your strength, if only you could find the silver lining in everything that falls upon your feet, and make the most of it. So stop complaining, and start working on yourself.

At last, rest in peace King, you will definitely be missed.
