In the health sector, many of which become associated line element in improving public health advocates. From the fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health, through nutrition. But the unfortunate thing is there are still many people who do not understand the urgency of the consumption of nutritious foods and healthy lifestyles. And if executed properly, the consumption of foods including prevention of diseases with a relatively low cost. Understanding of the public about nutrition and health must be improved. Therefore, the necessity of nutrition education which aims to raise awareness of nutrition in the community. In addition, nutrition education is also working in individual food consumption behaviour change, as well as help individu, families and communities, in order to act positively with respect to food and nutrition. It also part of the nutrition education through the implementation of the new concepts of information on nutrition. In fact, there are many benefits from the existence of this education in nutrition, which ultimately lead to better public health. The values of a healthy lifestyle will also have to be internalized, so each individual becomes an independent person in terms of health knowledge. Health education in the community can be obtained through two ways, namely through a process of experience and the latter through a process of non-formal. According to Wood, through the experience of health education with more emphasis on a series of experiences that support the habits, attitudes and knowledge relating to the health of individuals, communities and community groups. Meanwhile, according to L. Green, health education through the educational process is a term applied to the use of the educational process in a planned way to achieve health goals and that includes some combination of learning opportunities. Health education, either through experience and through non-formal educational process, the focus is to change the behavior of a person or a society that promotes the transition towards the rules and norms of a healthy lifestyle. Changes include the knowledge, skills and abilities. So the rules or regulations adopted to health can be applied in everyday life. Basically the ultimate goal of nutrition education is a conscious nutrition. If we make the age classification in society, it would seem that each age group has a different physiological state to another. It also discusses the issue of nutrition in the life cycle. For example, the consumption needs of infants and adults will have a significant difference. Here we can see from the body structure and growth. Needs of pregnant women and parents are different. Here we understand that the information we provide to the community needs to be adjusted with the stage of age. There are several things to consider in providing nutrition education to the community. First, we must be able to communicate well. This becomes an important point that ultimately the public can receive information we provide. Methods and language used in communication is also worth noting, we adjust the level of education, most people in the area. Then the informant need to master the knowledge of good nutrition. Many facilities that can be used as the socialization of knowledge of nutrition. Submission of information is not always in the form of counseling or workshops. This age adjusted to the object level. We hope this will be a stimulus for people to be more active in accessing information related to nutrition knowledge. The purpose of this information package is to increase public understanding about the science of nutrition with a variety of media used. In general, the most basic nutritional information provided is PHBs (Principle Clean and Healthy), PUGS (General Guidelines for Balanced Nutrition), and the BBB (Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced). We recommend that nutrition information is given starting from the simple things are easy to understand and apply. Stages of doing this is so that people can understand the urgency of an overall healthy lifestyle. Actually, the change in public attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle will have a positive impact on the factors of good environmental status (physical, social, cultural, economic and others). Indirectly, improved nutrition and health will make environmental changes for the better. Change in behavior due to the knowledge, skills and abilities of medical rules derived from the process of counseling and health education. This clearly shows the results of the path of healthy lifestyle habit to live in society, and someone will help him to be able to stay alone in carrying out daily activities.
