Tormented used some technique on-camera shoot such; Mid shot (exp: mostly used on Diana's and Dianto's act), Medium Close Up (exp: when Diana writes her diary), Cut-in (exp: when Diana makes a cup of tea), Wide Shot (exp: the first time Diana and Dianto arrived on their house), Cut-away (exp: photo, veil and book shoot), Over the Shoulder Shot (exp: In wedding make up process), Two shot (exp: Diana and Dianto's mother in the first scene), Point-of-view Shot (exp: when Diana in the forest and when she turned off the water faucet), and Weather Shot (exp: when showing the morning condition of the village).

In general, the "Tormented" movie is a good movie. It's a potent mix of Javanese culture, psychological, feminism, camera technique shots, and also the narrative storyline. The story of Diana who has a lot of self problem and her anxiety which is combined with its own hallucinations but still maintains the Javanese culture makes this movie more interesting and makes it different.
