Blurring Photo's Background

How to make background be blur? In this posting, I will explain step by step how to blurring photos’s background.

Bagaimana cara merubah latar belakang atau background photo menjadi kabur atau suram? Dengan Photoshop akan sangat mudah untuk mengerjakannya.

1.Open file (example: House of Papua, Indonesia), selection the house be carefully with Polygonal Lasso Tool. The way is click Polygonal Lasso Tool and selection the object (house).

Buka file-nya (contoh: rumah adat Papua, Indonesia), seleksi obyek atau rumah dengan menggunakan Polygonal Lasso Tool. Caranya, klik Polygonal Lasso Tool dan seleksi obyeknya (rumah).

2.Now inverse the selection, click Select menu, Inverse or press Shift+Ctrl+I on keyboard. And then made smooth the selection with feather, click Select menu, Modify, Feather, in Feather Selection’s window, change Radius Feather: 100 pixels

Sekarng balik seleksinya, klik menu Select, Inverse atau tekan Shit+Ctrl+I pada keyboard. Dan kemudian haluskan seleksi dengan feather, klik menu Select, Modify, Feather, di jendela Feather Selection, rubah Radius Feather: 100 pixels.

3.Last step is blurring, click Filter menu, Blur, Radial Blur. In Radial Blur’s window, change parameters, Amount: 10, Blur Method: Zoom, Quality: Draft and click Ok. Then remove the selection’s line, click Select menu, Deselect or press Ctrl+D on keyboard.

Very easy, isn’t it?

Langkah terakhir adalah mengaburkan latar belakang atau background, klik menu Filter, Blur, Radial Blur. Di jendela Radial Blur, rubah parameternya, Amount: 10, Blur Method: Zoom, Quality: Draft dan klik Ok. Kemudian hilangkan garis sleksi, klik menu Select, Deselect atau tekan Ctrl+D pada keyboard.
