Hello everyone! In this article, I will take you through a discussion about an Artificial Intelligence application. Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think, learn, and perform tasks typically requiring human cognition. AI systems can be designed to understand natural language, recognize patterns, make decisions, and adapt to new information through learning algorithms. Recently, I realized that this application can be very helpful in the process of learning English listening. Initially, this application was limited to being a search engine bot, where you could only engage in conversation through text messages. However, now it offers listening and responding features. This feature provides the experience of sending direct voice messages and receiving an instant response based on the conversation.

Most people might already be familiar with this app, as it is very popular among students and learners. The name of the app is ChatGPT, an AI platform commonly used to respond to spontaneous questions.ChatGPT itself is designed to keep up with rapidly advancing technology. Many users describe ChatGPT as an AI application that can compete with Google. It has its own database (algorithm) containing data from various sources like books, academic writings, encyclopedias, and more. ChatGPT also offers a language adjustment feature, allowing you to converse at different levels---basic, intermediate, advanced, or even at a native-like level of English fluency. If you get tired of learning with audio, it can direct you to learn through text, making your listening learning more versatile and less dependent on a single method. As with any application, while it has many advantages, there are also limitations. ChatGPT is not as perfect as one might think. There are still some input errors, resulting in occasional mistakes in the answers provided. It also cannot give real-time feedback on pronunciation errors, making it less effective as a tool for learning speaking. However, if you ask for help with pronunciation correction, you can receive suggestions, though not instant feedback. Additionally, it has limitations in visualization, meaning that the interaction is restricted to text and voice, without much visual aid.

Although this app has strengths in listening learning, I recommend using it as a supplementary tool rather than the primary platform for listening learning. For moreinteractive listening practice, where you receive real-time feedback, I would suggest using other platforms rather than ChatGPT itself.
