English is an International Language that helps to communicate with other people whether it's for studying or traveling because, it will be easier for you to talk to the locals that you will meet later, so, you don't have to worry if you have to communicate. 

Our ability to speak English will add value when we apply for a job and provide the opportunity to have a career at the International level. 

Why is learning English important? because English is the official language in 53 countries in the world. So, if you can already master English, you will have no difficulty communicating with foreigners.

1. Listening to music

Nowadays, everyone must often listen to music, both English music and other foreign languages. bacause by listening to enjoyable music, sometimes it doesn't feel like we have memorized it. so, learning English will be easier when listening to music. 

2. Often reading books

By diligently and frequently reading books from various references, one can improve the quality of their brain's memory. Reading improves a person's memory process in relation to the book he read. Well, books that are highly recommended for learning English are more books that contain vocabulary, such as dictionaries, and grammar books to improve the quality of our language in terms of writing and speaking. 

3. Watching movies without subtitles

In the current millennial era, young people spend more time watching films. Watching movies is also the most convenient method for someone learning English, because a film in English, without translation, has a positive effect on someone learning to master English. From that film, one can easily learn a conversation that can be directly practiced in everyday life, get a lot of new vocabulary, to training our brains to remember the vocabulary, learn English pronunciation with the conversational intonation from the film, and get many more benefits from watching the film without translation. 

4. Listening to podcasts

This is the same as watching a film without the translation above; by listening to more podcasts that contain English, one can easily master the language. because usually the language used in the podcast is relaxed and simple, so someone who is in the process of learning English will find it easier to understand. Also, in podcasts, they usually provide some motivation so that someone can be more enthusiastic and serious about achieving what he wants and hopes for. Because, Podcasts are not only useful as Entertainment media but, they can also train us in English namely, by improving our listening skills and adding insight. 

5. Regularly write in English 

Now, this last method is very interesting and very good to practice because, as we have learned from starting grammar and increasing vocabulary, we can apply it by trying to write in English. You can start by writing short stories, diaries, short quotes, or pouring thoughts or feelings into short English stories and poems. Start with something simple and easy, and write down whatever vocabulary you have memorized and know in your notebook. 

And there is something more important, namely carrying a small notebook wherever you go, because in this way, you can do it by writing down foreign vocabulary that you just know and then writing it down, and if you forget, you can open the small notebook again without difficulty. 

That is a list of tips and tricks, I hope will help you improve the quality of your English or make it easier for you millennials who are having difficulty easily and relaxedly understanding and mastering English. 

Of all the tips given, I have tried them and tested my English skills. I think the method above is very easy and fun. For me, who is also a millennial teenager, it would be a shame if you didn't try the tips above. 

Apart from the tips and tricks above, there is one word that I got and still remember from my teacher, namely, "English is speaking without speaking is nothing," from Mrs. Istiqomah as my teacher. The conclusion that I get from her quotes is to increase the conversation with someone, both among your friends and your teacher, by trying to speak or chat in English. Whether you're wrong or right—that's a later matter—the most important thing is that you are confident, not afraid of being wrong, and willing to be corrected and fix it when you're wrong. That's important, and it's also mandatory to have fun learning and being able to master English among the current millennial generation because times are getting more sophisticated and there's no reason to say it's difficult because we can find everything in an easy way, namely through digital technology and digital information. 

And remember a message from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe that he said, "Knowing is not enough, we must apply and willing is not enough, we must do," the point is, that when you already know what you are looking for, then take action so that you can master your desires because, knowledge is just knowledge if you don't try to practice it and hope is just a hope if you don't want to try to make changes. 

Being consistent in learning English is the most important key, when we are consistent in our learning, it will be easier to learn. If we are consistent in our learning, it will be easier to understand and enthusiasm is also important, when we have a willingness to learn and are consistent, we will get easily to master it. so, never give up and good luck!
