I have received such a tingling question last nite

Is Does Karma exist, La?

To answer such question I need to do it carefully since it deals with one's belief but If the question is changed into, "do you believe in such karma?" then certainly I would say No. The reason is based on the holy Qur'an that I read, Ali Imran: 30

On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him.

By that I only believe that Allah will grant us based on the good and evil thing that we have done throughout our living time in earth.

But what is Karma then?

Karma is a Sanskrit word meaning "action" or "movement". In Indian/Hindu religions, karma is conceived of as "the law of cause and effect". According to those who believe in karma, in the future people will experience the consequences of whatever they have done in the past. Good comes from good, and evil from evil. It therefore follows that the situation they are in today is the result of the past. According to this belief, however, what is meant by "the past" is the life that a person lived before their current life; what is meant by "the future" is their next life back on this Earth that will begin (or so it is claimed), after death. The reason for this is that the belief in karma is based on a belief in reincarnation-the belief that after death, people return to the world in a different body, and that this process of death and rebirth is continuous. It therefore follows that someone who believes in karma believes that in the so-called life they will have after death, whatever successes they have, whatever position in society they occupy and whatever way of life they enjoy will have been determined by how they behaved in their previous life and on their degree of morality in that life. Thus, I said to him that I only believe that whatever we do in this life then there will be an impact of it but it's not karma. It's just a cause and effect law. If you were hit then you will be hurt. If you don't study then you won't be able to pass the test. It's that simple. But he said that he was afraid if Allah would grant him as so called Karma because of what he did during his entire life. He said that he's afraid of not being able to be happy since he did something wrong in the past and Allah will punished him for it. My answer to him: Dear.... Don't be afraid of doing wrong in your life, it's so human nature. As long as we finally realize our faults and promise to ourselves that we won't do it again then you already get one lesson in life. Try to forgive yourself then you can live your life peacefully. If we love Allah then Allah will love and forgive you. For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. taken from my blog..
