Is It True That The Bus in The Guci, Tegal Derailed Because of A Small Child?

There was a deadly bus accident at the Guci hot spring tourist attraction, Bojong sub-district, Tegal, Central Java on Sunday 07 May 2023. PMI Tegal noted that there were 38 passengers on the bus at the time of the incident. 2 of them died, 2 were critical, the rest were only injured and even survived without any injuries. Initially, only one victim died in this deadly accident, namely Maja (58). Maja's body was delivered to the funeral home in Serpong from the Dr. Soeselo Slawi, Tegal . The Mayor of South Tangerang (Benyamin Davnie) and the Regent of Tegal (Umi Azizah) let go of the ambulance.

"The bodies are brought home for burial, while those who still need treatment, we leave them here." Benjamin said. Meanwhile, the victim named Ibin breathed his last on Monday morning.

There are many rumors circulating on social media that the accident was caused by a small child releasing the brakes while the bus driver was warming up the car. However, this was denied by many bus passengers. One of them is Ayum (54). According to her, there are no small children playing in the driver's control area. 

"No, there are no children. My people are in front, there are no children," said Ayum. 

Ayum suspected that the bus she was riding on could fall down and fall into the river due to the strong vibration of the bus engine, so that the rock that was used to prop the bus finally came off.

However, the police are still investigating the incident related to this accident.the police will also examine the driver in the near future for questioning.Then, on Wednesday yesterday a case was held by investigators in the case of a tourism bus accident, PO Duta Wisata at the Guci tourist attraction.

"Through the process of holding this case, the status of the bus driver in question will be determined," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy. 

The investigation was carried out in support of the process of handling the causes of the PO Duta Wisata tourism bus accident and the process of further investigation.
