Geographic Information System Mapping of mysticism In Pudak District Ponorogo Regency Based On website
This journal is entitled "Geographical Information System for Mapping mysticism Streams in Pudak District, Ponorogo Regency Based on Website" which was published in the 2021 National Seminar on Technology and Multidisciplinary Sciences (SEMNASTEKMU). This research was conducted by Ahmad Fauzan, Faisal Reza Pradhana, and Taufiqurrahman from Darussalam Gontor University. The main focus of this research is to develop a web-based geographic information system to map mystical flows in Pudak District, Ponorogo.
This research is to present information about the flow of mysticism in Pudak Subdistrict in the form of a web-based map using the WordPress platform and leaflets. The method used is the waterfall model which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a website that can display village coordinates and types of mysticism along with the number of adherents. Testing was conducted in two stages, namely system functionality test and distributing questionnaires to prospective users which showed 89.3% satisfaction
This research makes an important contribution in documenting and mapping the flow of mysticism in Pudak sub-district, a part of local culture that is often overlooked. Using a geographic information system approach, the data is presented interactively and easily accessible to the general public and related parties. The use of waterfall method in system development ensures a structured and systematic implementation. The journal has a strong and relevant theme, a systematic and clear way of writing, and an informative and technical character. This journal makes a valuable contribution to the documentation and mapping of local cultures, essential for the preservation of the nation's cultural heritage
I argue that this journal makes a valuable contribution to the preservation and documentation of local culture through the use of information technology. The use of geographic information systems to map mysticism schools is innovative and relevant to the needs of the times. However, this journal could have been better if it had included more qualitative data on the social impact of these mystical flows on the surrounding communities and provided more in-depth case studies on the interaction between the general public and the mystical flow practitioners
