Think of Gus Dur

Gus Dur's thought about the idea of indigenous indigenous Islam is how Islam as a normative teaching  which originates from God is accommodated into cultures that originate from humans without losing each other's identities.

This means that the basis of local traditions and culture will not affect the understanding of Islam. Rumadi someone can still become a hundred percent Islam by consistently practicing his religion and not reducing?
urf(tradition).
  But argument rumadi in the context of the lives of minority Muslims in the 7 races which is resisted by western traditions in carrying out their religious beliefs. Nevertheless, this has become a concern to all of us in Indonesia who practice local traditions based on the understanding of mainstream Islam in general who understand religion in accordance with what is in Arabic. Yet according to Gus Dur , this understanding is not necessarily in accordance with the needs of Islam in Indonesia with all its local traditions and cultures.
